Booking Terms
Booking Fees
A £50 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all permanent makeup appointments.
The £50 forms part of your treatment cost and will be deducted from the total amount payable. It is not an additional charge.
Your appointment is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a permanent makeup appointment.
With at least 72 hours’ notice, your booking fee can be transferred to a new appointment date.
Any appointment cancelled or rearranged with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the £50 booking fee, and a new £50 booking fee will be required to secure another appointment.
This policy applies without exception, regardless of the reason for cancellation or rescheduling.
Failure to attend your appointment without notice will also result in the loss of your booking fee.
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may require full payment in advance before any future appointments can be booked.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
Permanent makeup appointments have dedicated time allocated for consultation, mapping, colour selection and treatment. Late arrival may mean there is no longer sufficient time to complete your treatment safely and to the required standard.
If your appointment cannot go ahead due to late arrival, it will be treated as a late cancellation. Your booking fee will be lost and a new £50 booking fee will be required to secure another appointment.
Complimentary Perfecting Appointment
Your permanent makeup treatment includes a complimentary perfecting appointment, where required.
This appointment allows us to assess your healed result and refine the colour, shape or coverage where necessary.
Your complimentary perfecting appointment must take place within 8 weeks of your initial treatment. After this period, the appointment will no longer be classed as a complimentary perfecting appointment and the appropriate charge will apply.
The perfecting appointment is intended to refine the original treatment rather than significantly change the shape or style agreed at your initial appointment.
Healing, Skin Response & Your Results
Permanent makeup is a process, and everyone’s skin responds differently to treatment.
Your skin will be continually assessed throughout your appointment. If at any point I feel that continuing to work the skin would cause unnecessary trauma or compromise the healed result, I will stop the treatment.
In these circumstances, the skin will be allowed to fully heal and the treatment can be continued or refined at your complimentary perfecting appointment, where appropriate.
Your initial appointment creates the foundation, with the perfecting appointment allowing us to assess how your skin has healed, how the pigment has retained and make any refinements needed.
Your safety, skin integrity and the quality of your healed result will always take priority over continuing treatment when the skin has had enough.
Previous Permanent Makeup
If you have existing permanent makeup from another artist, this must be disclosed before booking. Clear photographs may be requested so the existing work can be assessed.
Not all previous permanent makeup is suitable to work over. In some cases, removal or lightening may be recommended before further treatment.
If previous permanent makeup has not been disclosed, I reserve the right not to proceed with treatment on the day.
Suitability & Medical Information
Permanent makeup is not suitable for everyone.
You will be required to complete the relevant consultation and medical information before treatment. Please provide accurate information regarding your health, medication, allergies and anything else that may affect your suitability for permanent makeup.
If anything changes between booking and your appointment, you must let me know.
I reserve the right to postpone or refuse treatment if I believe proceeding would be unsafe, unsuitable or not in your best interests.
Patch Testing
Where a patch test is required, this must be completed within the advised timeframe before your treatment.
If the required patch test has not been completed, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Aftercare
Full aftercare instructions will be provided following your treatment.
Following the recommended aftercare is an important part of achieving the best possible healed result. Please follow the advice provided throughout the healing period.
Children & Guests
Due to the nature of permanent makeup treatments and the need to maintain a calm and hygienic treatment environment, please attend your appointment alone unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
Children cannot accompany you during permanent makeup treatments.
Right to Refuse Treatment
I reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if I believe it would be unsafe, unsuitable or not in your best interests.
Treatment will not be carried out if you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Photography & Content
Before and after photographs may be taken as part of your treatment record.
Permission for photographs or videos to be used on my website, social media or other marketing materials will be subject to your consent.
Agreement
By booking an appointment and paying your £50 booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy.
